Soda Ash

Water conditioner — adjusts pH and reduces hardness for optimal fluid performance.

Soda Ash (sodium carbonate) is a water conditioner that adjusts pH and removes calcium and magnesium hardness from mixing water. Hard water interferes with bentonite hydration and polymer performance, leading to poor fluid properties.

Soda Ash is the first product added in virtually every Blick Fluid system — it prepares the water before any other additives are introduced. A small investment in water conditioning pays dividends in fluid performance.
