Carry Flow
Coated xanthan gum polymer for suspension, carrying power, and borehole cleaning in water-based drilling fluids.
Carry Flow is a powdered xanthan gum with a coating that makes it easier to mix. It improves suspension, carrying power, and borehole cleaning in water-based drilling fluids — freshwater, seawater, salt, and brine.
When the pumps stop, it builds a gel and holds cuttings up. When you start pumping, it loosens up and moves. At low flow, it stays thick enough to keep cuttings suspended until you're circulating again.
Carry Flow is the most used polymer in the Blick Fluids range — it appears in more fluid systems than any other product.
Key Benefits
- Superior cuttings suspension and transport
- Coated powder for easy, lump-free mixing
- Works in freshwater, seawater, and brine
- Gels at rest, flows when pumping — holds cuttings in place
