Clay Control
Clay swelling inhibitor — controls reactive clay and shale.
Clay Control is a concentrated liquid clay inhibitor designed to prevent swelling and dispersion of reactive clay formations. It works by exchanging ions on the clay surface, reducing the tendency of clays to hydrate and swell when exposed to water-based drilling fluids.
Ideal for HDD and waterwell applications where reactive clay can cause bore instability, stuck pipe, and excessive torque. Clay Control is compatible with all Blick Fluid systems and can be added at any stage of the mixing process.
