Filtration Control

Filter Low

Fluid loss reducer — controls filtration into permeable formations.

Filter Low is a polyanionic cellulose (PAC) polymer that controls fluid loss into permeable formations. It builds a thin, tough filter cake on the bore wall that prevents drilling fluid from flowing into the surrounding ground.

Essential for drilling in sand, gravel, and other permeable formations where uncontrolled fluid loss leads to bore instability, increased fluid costs, and environmental concerns. Filter Low is compatible with both bentonite and polymer fluid systems.

Key Benefits

  • Controls fluid loss in permeable formations
  • Builds thin, tough filter cake
  • Reduces fluid consumption and costs
  • Compatible with bentonite and polymer systems
